I was quite pleased how this came out – the fingers were really awkward!  Its about 12cm square.

This is a copy of a part of the Parthenon Frieze – around 12cm square.

And this one…although it’s around 19cm x 12cm

The next one is based upon a representation of Cleopatra I saw on the web:

Not a real bas-releif as such as I built it from the ground up…

Based upon the Three Muses.  It’s about 12cm square.

I have been asked to do a male version by a friend – maybe oneday!

A few more I did when fiddling about!

   …based upon a painting of Julius Caesar.  Around 8cm tall.

   …based on a sculpture I found on the web – I should have made a not of which one (although it is ancient, so I can’t thank the original artist!)  Around 14cm tall.

  …obviously (I hope) based upon the Venus de Milo.  Around 9cm tall

 One I called ‘Screaming out of the wood’ – I got the idea from a project I did at school!  Where I got the idea from back then – I have no clue!

Wasn’t so happy the way this one came out, but I liked the hair!

Here’s one that I copied from a picture of Ghandi I found.

This is still one of my favourite micro-sculptures, although this one is about 6cm tall.  His glasses were made from a bent paperclip!

These are some of my first sculptures and are all around 3-5cm tall and made of polymer clay.

Having just made some quite good progress on my latest piece, I came to a standstill.  This is one of problems working with air-dry clay – one has to do a bit, then stop while that bit drys.  Anyway, becuse of this I took the time to update all the photos and posts so far, so please re-read and look at the slightly better pictures.

Having found it’s a bit of a fiddle to just change the posts I’ve done so far, I’m just going to delete and start again!
