I am so pleased with this piece… The perspective worked as I wanted it to.  The skin was smooth… She flowed!  I just can’t think of a name for the piece.  I’m thinking of something like, “preparing for the night”,  but i’m not sure… Ha,  just while writing this it came to me, i’m calling it just, ‘this night’, after a track by Black Lab.  The track goes, “Take this night, and wrap it around me like a sheet”.

Not only is my bear sculpture on display again this weekend (in Winterthur, for Kunstschule Winterthur), but he’s on my teacher’s website too…

Final pictures before the holidays… I can’t carry on until September now 😦 Ah well, I’ve enjoyed every minute of the process so far.  Just wish I could carry on for a few more weeks! It’s looking even more like what it is supposed to be now too.

I’m slowly getting there…

Started my stone sculpting course last night… picked a nice block and set to work.  Can you imagine what I saw inside of it yet?
